If I had a theme song, this would be it.  I am amazed how this describes the way I thought and felt before My Quest.  It’s like they wrote this song about me.

If you feel like you are nothing, if you feel like you have no purpose, if you feel alone and that no one understands or cares, remember the many wonderful words to this song.

Days will come when you don’t have the strength
And all you hear is you’re not worth anything
Wondering if you ever could be loved
And if they truly saw your heart
They’d see too much

You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
You are made for so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
You are treasured, you are sacred, you are His
You’re beautiful

Praying that you have the heart to fight
‘Cause you are more than what is hurting you tonight
For all the lies you’ve held inside so long
But they are nothing in the shadow of the cross

You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
You are made for so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
You are treasured, you are sacred, you are His
You’re beautiful

Before you ever took a breath
Long before the world began
Of all the wonders He possessed
There was one more precious
Of all the earth and skies above
You’re the one He madly loves
Enough to die!

You’re beautiful, You’re beautiful
In His eyes

You’re beautiful!
You are made for so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful!
You are treasured, you are sacred, you are His
You’re beautiful!
You are made for so much more than all of this
You’re beautiful!
You are treasured
You are sacred
You are His

Here is a video with the lead singer, Bart Millard, of MercyMe explaining this song a little bit.  It’s awesome, I hope you’ll take the time to watch it: Behind the song “Beautiful”.

Remember that you were made “for so much more than all of this”.  I am so grateful that I finally feel that.  I used to know deep down that I was made for more than the misery I was in, I just didn’t have a clue how to get there.  Now I do.  I want so much for everyone to know.

Christ suffered for us – for you – because he loves you.  And He knows how wonderful you truly are.

“I believe that all people are inherently good.  If we are all God’s children like I believe we are, and He is the ultimate source of positive energy, then we can only all be good, right?  After all, “God is Love” as it says in the scriptures, which are filled with talk about love.  They also tell us that we are made in the likeness and image of God.  Therefore, we are all good.

…No one really knows my soul but God, and He didn’t give up on me, even when I at times gave up on myself.  I am so grateful for that.” -From my Love and Megamind post.

There IS hope.  You are loved.  You are beautiful.

For many years I desperately needed the message this song gives.  There are countless others who feel the same or similar to the way that I did.  Will you please help me share this message – we are largely unaware of who is in need of this.  Most people suffer in silence.  Thank you!
